Jammin’ With Ralph

by Ben Whitehouse.

Vincent Price Con Head

If you’ve not been in the loop or if you haven’t received an e-mail from me in the past few days labeling you as a pussy, tonight at midnight is the first Jammin’ With Ralph at UCB NY.

The UCB Theatre’s monthly improv jam!

Think you have the improv chops to jam with Ralph? Prove it!

Hosted by fwänd!

Upgrade To The Future

by Ben Whitehouse.

Yeah, yeah, we know. It seems like some piece of fantastic code I hacked way back in the day does not like the the upgrade I just performed. So, you get this very exciting, white page layout until we figure out what went wrong.

Welcome to the future. I hope you brought your flashlight.

Okay, I think I’ve figured it out — As such, I’de like to introduce you to our new site design. I’d been meaning to fix a few problems that didn’t play well with IE, but hopefully they are all fixed… If you’re having any troubles, please feel free to drop me a line… or look at it in Firefox. I’ve still got a lot of work to do, so please be careful of sharp corners.

The Art of Sucking

by Ben Whitehouse.

Plane Crash

For all the credit I give Mick Napier and his excellent book Improvise, learning the rules of improv as taught by Del Close in Truth In Comedy is a necessity. Mick teaches a far more organic form of Improv that, while being a great addition to Del’s teachings pushing forward an improviser stuck in a rut, it’s major failing is if you aren’t following the ground rules in improv chances are your scenes will suffer.
