Chelsea Clarke and Adam Pally do the Shuffle

by Ben Whitehouse.

Da, da, da, da. Do the the shuffle…

Okay now I’m ahead of the curve, rumor through the grapevine is Chelsea Clarke, of Tantrum, will be filling Shannon O’Neill’s spot on fwänd and Adam Pally, formerly of Beverly Hills, will be filling Will Hines’ spot on 1985.

How was that for a run on sentence?

These are both really interesting moves. Chelsea one of my favorite players currently on a Harold team. Her growth as an improviser, over the last year, has been incredible. Bringing her onto fwänd is a really smart move and one I had not seen coming.

Adam Pally is also a wonderful performer, who was surprisingly not put on any Harold Team in the Decoster, Reynard, $12k shuffle a few weeks back. This was really surprising as Pally is an really smart player and played such an integral role in Beverly Hills. Seeing him again a few weeks back in the Hotsauce Cage-Match reminded me of what a strong player he is. I’m interested to see what effect he has on the 1985 line up. Being such a different player than Will Hines I’m interested how the team incorporates Pally’s abilities.

So, watch for the announcements, see if I’m full of shit, and go see these two new line ups.

Shannon O’Neill and Will Hines Join Stepfathers

by Ben Whitehouse.

Wow, really behind on this post. Shannon O’Neill and Will Hines have joined The Stepfathers! I had just been thinking I wonder who’ll be joining onto the Stepfathers now that Billy Merritt has left for UCBLA. I had thought either Will Hines or Shannon O’Neill might have been added.

It’s a pretty incredible line up and improves an already incredible show.

Although we still miss you Billy.

3 New UCBNY Harold Teams

by Ben Whitehouse.

UCBNY added 3 new Harold Teams to their Tuesday line up. The majority of the teams are made up, from what I can tell, of former Creep, Kill Your Darlings, and current members of Machine Wash Tuxedo, and Sherpa.

A big Improvoker congratulations to Jumpin’ Joe Spellman, Aubrey Plaza, Rob Cuthill, and all the other improvisers we don’t know yet.

Creep’s Swan Song

by Ben Whitehouse.

Creep

News has it that tomorrow night, July 3rd at 8pm, will be Creep’s last show at Harold Night at the UCBNY. We urge you all to go and give them one last hurrah, before they all become so famous you can’t get near them with a 100 foot pole.* Creep is Eric Bernat, Eugene Cordero, Angeliki George, Birch Harms, Jeff Hiller, Ryan Karels, Megan Neuringer, and Amber Petty.

Creep is UCBNY’s longest running Harold team.

This news coming 1 month after Kill Your Darlings was removed from the Harold Night roster.

*A 100 foot pole is a pretty long pole.

Kill Your Darlings No More?

by Ben Whitehouse.

In a surprise move, UCBNY has removed veteran house team Kill Your Darlings from the Harold night roster. We know no other information at this time and don’t want to rely on speculation. If we hear any reliable updates, we’ll let you know.

Our Server is on Vacation!

by Ben Whitehouse.

UPDATE: It’s back up. It’s Down. It’s back up.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it looks like our server is on vacation. We really thank you for stopping by and we’ll be sure to share pictures of our server on sandy beaches, when it returns. Whenever that is.

We hope to be back shortly with some great links, okay? Until then, our writing is on a forced vacation of it’s own.

Bye for now.

(Oh and just in case you want a cheap web host, that is mostly available, we recommend Dreamhost… We just don’t recommend them right this second.)
